For this reason, we launched the “BSR Bachata Stars” campaign, to recognize the people behind the music that makes you dance, and put a face to that singer, guitarist, pianist, or a producer… We pride ourselves in collaborating with “GOOD, PASSIONATE & TALENTED HUMANS” with a common goal: to grow the genre and take what we do mainstream.

About DJ SOLTRIX
A world-renowned DJ and producer, DJ Soltrix is one of the biggest names in the bachata dance scene today.
David Rodriguez, aka DJ Soltrix, was born in 1985 in Tampa, Florida. Growing up watching his father who worked as a radio jockey and experimenting in his dad’s small basement studio, David became engrossed in the world of music and mixing at a very young age.
A career DJ and producer, Soltrix became attracted to bachata remixing upon hearing English/Spanish crossover productions by prominent bachata artists, which extended the reach of Latin American artists and genres to a broader English-speaking audience. He began experimenting with the genre and around 2013 released his first bachata remix to Clocks by Coldplay. Unbeknownst to him, his bachata remixes began rapidly spreading and were being played at bachata festivals worldwide when he entered the social dance scene.
DJ Soltrix is a pioneer of a new bachata production style that fuses the bachata beat with electronic dance music to create a party vibe like no other. His tracks allow you to experience the deepest level of opposite ends of the spectrum — from the most intimate, slow, sensual songs to the most energetic, uplifting party tracks. As he would describe it, “It’s A Vibe.”
DJ Soltrix has collaborated with many artists in the scene such as Mr. Don, Cosimo, Melvin War, Prophex, Jannira, Tito Ortega and others. He is currently working on creating more singles and new covers to release on all platforms. Since the start of the pandemic, Soltrix has been hosting his daily Bachata Mix Studio Sessions live on YouTube — 350 days in a row and counting! In addition, DJ Soltrix and Bachata Sensual Radio are collaborating to grow the dance scene to reach the general market. With this goal in mind, the show “It’s a Vibe Saturdays” was created and reaches every continent over the radio.
Bachata Sensual Radio editorial asked DJ Soltrix what he would want to tell his fans. Soltrix responded, “Stay strong, continue leaning your heart and your thoughts on music, and keep spreading the love of bachata.”
